Jordan never could've won a game in Vegas he'd be in an alleyway all night betting strangers on coin tosses after they threw him out of the casino
Like i posted earlier, people can argue Jordan v Lebron all they want but this LeBron is basically the same age as Wizards Jordan - that's just not even close
A lot of people lauding the IST immediately switch gears once LeBron wins LOL. Imagine being this much of a hater.
did Lebron take years off? Come back? nba training on the body is a lot diff today than it was 25 years ago.
No, he would run the casino vip style all night and then dominate the game. Rodman would show up to the game late with makeup on and still shut the other team down
Honestly IST MVP should either be awarded prior to the championship game OR just make it a IST Game MVP. better yet come up with a better name. IST is lame lol. I feel like it’ll be named after Jordan in the offseason or they wait for LeBron to retire and name it after him.
Exactly Lebron never took rests. MJ fanbois so deluded they argue resting for seasons is somehow harder than going 21 yrs without any break.
Of course. A few days ago I saw all the teams they beat to get to the championship and it's just obvious LeBron led Lakers were pushed to be the first team to win. Big $$$ for the league and Vegas. LeBron is in the mix for being part owner of an expansion team starting in Vegas. The whole vibe of this in season tournament was suspect and I personally don't respect it. I also don't respect the way the Clippers beat the Rockets in a game that played out to be crucial in this tournament amongst other things.
Other than stats inflation, umm Lakers. Wizards. Anthony Davis. Chris Whitney. There's some "minor" differences here. LeBron in the same shows would have joined Shaq and Kobe. Jordan had nothing to prove and played for free for the worst team without recruiting for chasing.
[ Sorry but the "nothing to play for excuse" seems to fly in the face of Jordan's legendary competitive drive. Also stat inflation doesn't really account for the fact that today's players are simply much better at shooting, full stop. The lines are in the same place. Jordans percentages from distance aren't even worth mentioning. Most pertinently - Go back and eye test 39 year old Jordan backing into the lane vs 39 year LeBron freight training towards the basket - one of these things is way harder to deal with!
