If thats the case, I wonder what Warrior fans said about Chet Homegren after his performance?

They said that perfidious Houston fans would be slobbering over him on Clutchfans in an Alperen Sengun thread.

    Embarrassingly, they were right.

Sengun's line is now 20.1/8.4/5.7 on a .624 TS%. I really want him to get his rebounds above 9 rpg so I can push my 20/10/6 agenda.

The crazy thing about his stat line is that he is clearly not stat-chasing. He boxes out a lot for others and, as FVV said, just makes the right play.

His blocks are down, because I am quite sure the coaching staff told him he is too valuable to sit because he gambled on blocks.

His rebounds are down, because he is boxing out for others.

It's annoying for my fantasy teams, but good for the Rockets.

Main areas I want to see him improve still:
    • Pull the f-ing trigger when you are open - Ime is exactly right. It's indeed harmful when he doesn't take the open shot because we end up running out of shot clock and someone has to take a desperation heave. Better to shoot it when open, there is still a chance to possibly get the rebound if it doesn't go in. Do not defer. When open, shoot it.
    • Get the f-ing free throw percentage up to .800. Focus.
    • Stop complaining to the refs. It has gotten a little better, but just cut it out completely. It will serve you better in the long run. Refs hate whiners.
Other than that, couldn't be much happier with his play.

Also, the youngest Rocket ever to reach this stat line.

Hakeem - forever greatest Rocket ever - was older than Alpi is now when he came to the NBA.

I can understand why, but Udoka "fouling out" Sengun in the third probably cost us the game. Without Sengun on the floor, our offense turns to ****.

And Udoka is imposing that hierarchy with an iron fist.

Going forward, I’d like to see some more creativity off-ball with JG and Jabari in particular. Let Dillon Brooks set some massive Draymond screens back there.

He has a jumper, his mid range off one leg is money. He just needs to extend his range to the 3pt line. Imagine if he can be a 75%+ FT shooter on top of shooting 35% from 3s.

another way of looking at it is Udoka "fouling out" Sengun in the third is what put Sengun in position in the fourth to tie the game going one-on-one against LeBrawn with four seconds left in the game ;)
