Too high on our young guys all-around.

The closest one to being realistic is Alpi's, but even then, his worst case is still an All-NBA player? And his best case is a multiple-time MVP first ballot HoFer who will probably end up being hailed as the greatest player of the 2020s? I would go a notch lower on Alpi for the moment, at least until he sustains this level of production for a longer stretch. His worst case is probably closer (in statistical production) to a guy like Nurkic, albeit with higher assist numbers. His median outcome is probably something like Sabonis but with better offense and worse rebounding. His best case is probably something like halfway in between Julius Randle and Jokic.

The comps get more silly from there. Jalen could become Kobe? Tari Eason could become Kawhi Leonard? C'mon, guys.

 

Pretty much, most of them hit Medium anyway.......

Alpe is not Pau Gasol...more like a slimmer Marc Gasol. He just has curly hair......the only resemblance.

Pau was the Center version of CP3 .....a great middy shooter.

 

They are a fun team to watch and they are going to continue to develop and get better under Ime’s great leadership. That’s enough for me

Worst case scenario is always out of the league or KPJ adjacent. This kind of tweets or whatever are playfully ignorant.

I think all of our first round youngsters have all star potential. Even Cam. However the two guys who could be there sooner than the others are Sengun and Jalen. Doesn’t mean their ceiling is higher though. They are just likely to be there sooner and have a higher floor because of that.

They are pretty similar. Out of all those ridiculous comps, it’s hilarious that’s the one you have an issue with…lmao that might be the most realistic worst case out of all of them.

 

Alpi is already as good as Sabonis is now. Sabonis is a bit more efficient, but he is also 27 and Alpi is 21 and this is first camp working on his perimeter shooting. His worst case is indeed an All star since he is an star caliber big man RN.

The rest are just dreaming lol.

 

They are both half Filipinos, both same height, both guards......that is all I got.

The thing with Clarkson was he never made the jump, plateaued rather early.....stayed the same course.
