This is an absolutely terrible take.

 

He got the fact right that the Raptors did not make the Playoffs....they lost in the first Play In game to Chicago.

 

Obviously... He's in a different stratosphere of player than FVV even now

 

If we had Harden he would be dominating the ball and playing his usual lazy defense. It's not the kind of team Ime Udoka wants to build. He wants a free-flowing offense where everyone gets involved and Sengun is as much the hub as is the point guard. And he also wants a defensive-minded team that switches everything and gives 100% effort on that end of the floor. Neither of those is compatible with James Harden and Udoka pretty much stated that straight-out.

Fred was the best available to suit that vision of the team.

 

Y'all should be content, he is closer to a championship with the Clips than here, he is wasting his time here, even if the Clippers are just old and not better than Denver.

with this version of Harden... Embiid had his best and easiest scoring season of his career.... he doesn't get his MVP without him and Harden was a huge positive for Tyrese Maxey's development.

I definitely think he'd help Green even more and also make the game that much easier for Sengun... It doesn't matter though... Hope FVV gets it going and has a much better season than his last.

I love the fans who come out of their dugouts and grab the keyboard to criticize players when they play poor in a game.

But when they play well, they are not there.

FVV certainly came as a cure for the Rockets after the KPJ trouble.

All starters are already a lot better than under the horrible Silas/KPJ regime.

 

Folks need to be patient with this group. They have legit horses, guys in their prime and guys entering their prime. Plus there are talented young guys with immense amounts of potential.

With Brooks and Fred the tone is set for the immensely talented guys like Green, Smith, Segune, and Thompson to earn their playing time. And earning playing time means putting the time in practice.

I think Segune is in another level with offense, he just needs to continue to focus on his defense.

 

One of FVV's hair follicles has more basketball IQ than the entirety of Kevin Porter Jr. He's so much better at basketball than Honcho it's almost laughable. Fred is basically mini CP3. Cunning, smart, saavy, accountable. Perfect signing.

 

This is clearly a team made of franchise players.

 

I thought FVV and Brooks and Jeff Green played very well last night. Hoping for more of that out of them. If the youngsters can just come around...
