30-35 wins. We won 22 last year we are gonna win 30 games at least. Vets are fine Sengun took a leap, Jalen should win us 5 games.

if you're signing someone for 40+ mil in free agency and you can't even be a play-in team or at least in legit contention for the play-in after that and 3 years of high picks, then that's just a fail

I had expectations that Jabari Smith could hit free throws but I guess I need to adjust those

 

First half of the year will be extremely frustrating. They won't play complete games and when they do, will fall flat the next game. However it will be a new coaching staff still trying to figure out their player and the guys learning each other. Plus both Amen and Whitmore would hopefully be contributors by seasons end and have to learn the NBA and work their way into the rotation. They will probably be firmly in the lottery up until the ASB. Hopefully, by then they know who each other are and can look respectable in the 2nd half of the year to maybe sneak into the play in.

Remember play in tournament was like a aspirational goal for this team. NOT the playoffs.

 

Expectations after giving out huge contracts in the summer is: not a bottom 3 team in the West.

Unfortunately, it's going to get worse before it gets good if you take one look at our upcoming schedule.

 

For me it was 30 wins....but that just dropped one game.

Somewhere between now and the end of the season the Rockets need to make it up by
beating a good team by surprise.

I predicted 35 wins, now it looks like they'll be lucky to crack 20.
