You are a dumbass. I am going to put this in the same category as the dumbass writing off early JJ Watt.

Chill, I’m just venting my man :)

However, Will does need to show a little more…just a little more

JJ Watt wasn't JJ Watt until his 2nd season.

Stingley has got to get and stay healthy (get that guy a yoga instructor, stat!), though I'm not totally impressed with watching Gardner.

Stingley over Gardner was just stupid. Not a deal breaking offense but Caserio should take the hit for that.

We weren’t taking Carter and a ton of teams wouldn’t have. His pro day was awful and he had awful off the field incidents

Other than potential health issues, why not? Stingley is a vastly superior player when he's playing.

There’s no way Demeco wasn’t getting Will Anderson. Not sure what Carter has to do with anything.

Even if true (which I disagree), part of ability is availability. I wouldn’t have drafted Stingley at 3. If I didn’t like Gardener I would have tried to trade out.

    You're not wrong.

But Stingley is very much a better player than Gardener, he just has to stay on the field.

Don't look now but Will is tied for the lead in sacks for rookies, the best rated run preventor on the edge according to pff, and has blocked multiple kicks on special teams. Complete player.

Derek Stingley... don't look now, but that kid from LSU who was regarded as the next CB1 in the NFL looks the part.

    Great bump.

This thread is idiotic and deserves scorn.

I also think @Buck Turgidson deserves credit. Dude stayed the course because he understands that you cannot judge a draft or player by an injury and one year.

All you fans that continue to overreact year after year too early on players/drafts should know better.

Stingley had tape from LSU destroying Jamarr Chase and JJ in practice. He was very obviously a great player who was a safe pick at 3. Safe as in he deserved to be drafted that high.

I agree that the calculation was assessing the ratio of on field potential and health risk. And as you say, Stingley's better on the field.

Sucks that Tank isn't going to have an opportunity to go up against Sauce this Sunday. If he were playing and was able to burn Sauce a couple of times...

There's able to play and then there's healthy. I wonder which category Noah is in? Niko showed his hand so you know he's the guy they'll scheme. We need someone else ready for a big day.
