We’re up 5 in the 2nd half on a team that’s 2-0 at home. CJ has played great but he’s still a rookie. Still a rookie HC & OC. We were also the underdog for a reason. Two weeks ago everyone thought we gave away a top 5 pick and now everyone thinks we should be up 4 touchdowns versus another team that also gets paid to play NFL football. Y’all need to temper those expectations a bit.
It's a little bit of both. There's been a handful of catchable balls that have been dropped for sure. But also, Stroud isn't pushing the ball like he typically does. He isn't looking to take that extra 4 yards on a scramble. Instead, he's become something of a check down charlie. I assume a good bit of it is scheme, as well as Stroud trying to play clean.
