Baylor just lost to UCF but only by one. Had a chance to win on last play of game. Missed FG. I think the bottom safely belongs to UH this year.
Moral victory or actual victory? I can't check score 'cause I'm 30 minutes behind on the UGA/Auburn game
You are right. I just caught the end of the game. It was UCF that missed the last second FG. In any event, its going to be a long first year for us in the Big 12. Defense looked uninspired and slow. Special teams gave up block punt for TD and KO return for TD. Offense looked great in first half but did not score a point in the second half. I don't know what Dana told them at halftime but it clearly did not work.
I’d like to see Dana gone…sounds like that isn’t likely due to his contract. Basketball starts soon!!
I absolutely have to find the replay of that 4Q, I stopped paying attention when it was 35 to not much
Shut out for the entire second half after the offense was absolutely rolling in the first. Almost seems impossible. Coaching and adjustments matter...
These are the buyout numbers I will be stunned if he gets fired this year. $14.48M after the 2023 season $10.08M after the 2024 season $5.58M after the 2025 season $2.82M after the 2026 season
That game felt totally winnable despite the final score. Special teams put us at a huge disadvantage, so when the defense eventually slipped up it put the offense in a position where they couldn't respond. I was encouraged by Donovan's performance, but our short yardage game is still terrible and will prevent us from winning close games.
Subtract the potential lost revenue in lost season ticket renewals or people going to the games. UH isn't in UT/A&M territory where they can afford bad seasons. .500 season or below I'm sure Dana gets fired.
I can't see him getting fired unless we lose out. Between the buyout and the conference shift this year is going to be given a pass.
