Why is this guy out on 75k bail (which is nothing for him), but the guy who assaulted Mr. Pelosi has been in jail for what, almost a year now?
There are all kinds of people out there. I have always ALWAYS been steadfast when it comes to not hitting a woman. There are very few circumstances which would warrant it. For example, these days I have a son if someone was injuring him man or woman I am not going to let that happen. It's safe to say there is a % of the population that do not think like me though. Although it may be small but some do in fact think to some extent it is ok to slap around a woman here and there.
I don't want to discuss politics, I am trying to understand the double standard between two assault cases.
That sucks. We always knew he was a headcase. But this is another level. He has all the tools to succeed in the NBA. I was really looking forward to seeing him as a 6th man that finishes plays instead of starting them. And I was curious to see, if Ime can get him to play smarter ball. Well, I guess this most of all opens up playing time for Cam. I guess our rotation will now look something like this: FVV / Amen Green / Cam Brooks / Tari Jabari / Tate Sengun / Landale
Depends on cases, this bail is getting him out of the precinct cell, but we will see about the trial but Kysre has to press charges and seek witnesses. Not going to study Pelosi case for this though.
A simple google search and reading an article about the Pelosi case and what he is charged with would answer that.
You really don't think attacking someone with a hammer in the head attempting to kill them is worse? We all know that KPJ made a MASSIVE mistake, but intent matters and it's highly unlikely he was trying to kill her. Let's be realistic here. I know what you're trying to get at, but really, do better.
In terms of the physicality of the assault, KPJ's attack doesn't seem to be any less bad. I guess the additional thing in the other case is the break-in and trespass. Aside from the other case, it just seems very lenient to me to just release the guy a day later on what is little money for him as bail, after an attack this bad.
Correction: basketball wise this was a blessing in disguise. It ends the KPJ experiment early and unlocks more playing time for Amen. This will help with his development as opposed to having a head case on the roster stealing minutes and being a bad role model / locker room disruptor.
Sorry but using a weapon like a hammer and breaking and entering are objectively going to increase your charges and sentencing. No ****.
I always knew there were a bunch of weirdos and lames on CF’s. When stuff like this comes up it cements it that much more and for the ones I’m talking about.
