I think the Attack on Titans were done by the Japanese personally. It got around 4 out of 10 reviews. Arielle territory.
The plot is easy to adapt. the hard part is the fighting which is often over-the-top cartoonish/goofy like Tom & Jerry. I dont think that can really be done in live action. I watched the live action and the fighting was ok but they toned it down big time from the anime. Best they could do i suppose.
I really like it. As someone that is trying to like one piece but its soooo slow I cringe when watching. This is the best live action done outside of rurouni kenshin. The casting is pretty good. The overall acting is really good. I was kinda impressed. I'm currently on episode 143 on the anime and it's soooo slow burn its unmotivating to watch. I also think it's ridiculous to have to get to episode 300 before any anime gets good but I've discovered one pace recently and has heard that is way better to watch so after I finish the rainbow mist arch I'll be trying to figure out where to start there. I may not need to depending on when they start the new live action season.

I like it better than the Anime The anime is slow and too goofy and too much filler Monkey D Luffy In the anime is annoying af And he is here at first But over the series ...the actor does a great job The crew coming together doesn't feel forced. Rocket River
Agreed, the anime is pretty insufferable after a good couple episodes. The show was actually more interesting
This was pretty fun. I enjoyed it. Charming characters, campiness, power of friendship, feels pretty faithful to anime. I never watched the original anime. Given how long it is and that it takes 300 episodes to get good, I think I'll stick to this live action adaptation.
Let’s take a standard runtime of 22 minutes for each ‘30 minute’ show, since they used to do that to allowed for commercials (there are even more commercials now). Shave off 2 minutes for skipping intro/end credits. Thats still 100 hours of watching a show before it’s even good. I’ve had romantic relationships that far were far shorter than that and the payoff was much much quicker. Given the abundance of amazing anime out there I’d rather watch something else. Or just read the manga up to that point in the story since I can read an manga chapter in about five minutes.
