That is exactly what people do not understand. Nobody is saying he is a bad player lol. But he is disliked by certain folks. Dislike also does not mean every of them will go the extra mile to heckle him - some of us are civil. Most annoying are his so called fake ass fairweather fans, they are not even his real fans. He is also not a certified NBA star type of player. He is just getting paid 23 million. I have come to terms with his contract. Period.

I agree with your opinion. The FIBA games should be an enabling factor for Udoka to use Brooks as efficient as possible. I watched the Canadians against Slovenia. Brooks had a decent game. He looked composed and focused - Quick thinking and willingly passing I am optimistic about his addition. He is very expensive but the Rockets badly needed a gritty defender. We will make the PLAY IN
I hate Dillon Brooks for the same reasons I hate DeAngelo Russell and Tim Hardaway and Russ. If you're not a good shooter, don't shoot so much. I don't care about the antics whatsoever. If he has the same general shot diet he's had for the world cup, I'd be cool with him but I'm not holding my breath. He's behaving right now but this guy really really likes to shoot. I'll gladly reserve judgement till the season but the Dillon Brooks that we've seen in the NBA thus far is the exact kind of player that I hate.
