I am not a fan of putting a rookie QB into his first preseason game without the O Line that would be there for game one, you are setting them up for failure. Your QB will not look good, what's the purpose of it? CJ will be the QB1 of the future, but give him the line to at least see if he can handle a normal rush

So the other execs saying he was a pocket QB saw something different?

You jackasses want this kid to be something he’s not. Mainly to fit your own biased narrative, specifically yours.

Many execs and draft pundits thought Stroud was just a pocket passer, including many on here, until he showed different. He's definitely more mobile than anyone initially thought.

And since you're a Texan fan, you should be glad we have a franchise QB thats mobile with a good arm!

Some Jackasses just don't like other people because they are different than them. Thats a true definition of a JACKASS

He’s not mobile. I know you want him to be, but he’s not. He’s not a statue but he isn’t anywhere near the truly mobile guys in the league.
He’s a lesser athlete than Mills, by quite a bit.
He’s Mac Jones level athlete, not bad but not good either

Mills wouldn’t have had a 50 yard touchdown run in college under any circumstances. Stroud has that. You can continue to wage war on this issue but you’re just wrong. Mills is not comfortable running at all, no matter what his athleticism is or isn’t.

Stroud is even more uncomfortable running and less of an athlete.
That run was against a terrible Mich St team with literally no one in his way. Mills makes that run a lot quicker than Stroud.

98% of Strouds tape in college is not able to make anyone miss, getting ran down by lineman and taking hits because he couldn’t avoid them on the sideline.
He’s an average to below average QB in terms of athleticism.
