You cited a problem and claimed the only solution was to sign FVV for double what he's worth. I just pointed out, as you now acknowledge, there are many scenarios to solve a salary floor or gain veteran leadership.
If FVV plays like a max guy and Green is truly our star in the future, then I won't mind slotting Amen at the 3 spot. Anyway, we have a glut of young guys with good potential. Not everyone will pan out. In fact, if half of them ends up reaching their potential, we'd be a championship contender 3 years from now. Eventually, we will have to consolidate. But for the next two years, we need to give the kids enough chances to show what they really are.
