FVV tops in the league in deflections too.

With Fred and Brook, you are getting two elite defenders that can shoot threes at a high clip, and are set to be instant expiring contracts after 1 year.

Perfect scenario to let JG/Sengun/Jabari develop.

    The rockets are looking for:
    Defense
    Winning experience
    veteran leadership
    Playmaking
    Hard workers
    shooting

But, the rockets haven't been very good so they will have to overpay for anyone they want in free agency that fits their needs.

Joe Harris is just a spot up shooter. Smart defenses are better at taking these guys out of the game now days. Run him off the line and he's worthless. That's fine if you have some superstars and just want to give them a little space. But, I don't think someone like that is ideal for this team currently, not if it prevents us from filling our other needs.

FVV doesn’t think he can get a 2 year $40M deal in 2 years?

All great points. I don't care if it's not a "Joe Harris" type player, I just hope there's someone available via trade who fits the Rockets needs so they won't pay FVV $40/million year. I used Harris as an example of what I hope happens in Houston. Not comparing the two. I know the Rockets will have to overpay, but that much going to him is ridiculous.

Where are you seeing this? I guess my only concern is that Kyrie suddenly becomes a viable option since we have to spend money. Thank goodness the FO wants only short deals which won't work with Kyrie.

Rockets would be dumb to hand out that kind of a deal to FVV.

Great for FVV/Raptors, though. Happy for them.

Rockets looking like they’ll be left out with anything that we as fans want. Hope not.

So Freddy is still available. A bit of hope remains.
