The Picks We Owe to OKC

Oh that's just painful to hear.

Also, it's official. Paul George is to miss all 9 of their remaining games but expected to come back at some point in the playoffs. It's so close in the West though that 9 games missed could be the difference in remaining in the top 6 or falling into the play-in for sure. And if he's not back in time for the play-in that could really go our way.

That said, I wish him well anyway. Love it when things go our way but I never wish injury on anybody.

 

So the baseline next season is to be as good as Brooklyn? An ideal outcome would be becoming next years Charlotte or Portland, we would then keep our top 4 pick plus get another possible lottery pick from Brooklyn.

 

That would be way too many youngsters.

 

If you keep them all, but eventually a bunch of these young guys are going to be packaged for a disgruntled star.

They are in contention for Clingan or Filipowski ........ Clingan looks like the better rebounder.

If we get a lottery pick, it goes to Memphis based off the Adams trade, so no need to tank.

 

if this was next year's draft I'd say yes. But not for this upcoming one

We'd only have to fall 7 spots in the standings to be bottom 4. And there's the lottery itself that determines where our pick ends up.

The picks we owe to OKc are just karma for stealing Harden from them and giving them scrubs. Right now that pick is projected to be 11th but I'm sure Rox are gonna make a end of season push and get into the play in at least.
