All I know about Whitmore is that some ESPN likes him. Whitmore was supposed to be draft a lot higher than #20, so it's a steal for us.
You know, both Amen and Cam have great families. Work ethic, accountability and being professional seem to be common between both of them. Refreshing to see fathers raising strong, well spoken young men
Kid's father is retired Air National Guardsman, that's plus from my perspective. Good article talks about thumb injury... https://nypost.com/2023/06/22/cam-whitmore-follows-work-ethic-of-dad-to-cusp-of-nba-draft/ Love this pick, would have been a steal at 10, but at 20 we won the lottery (pun intended). Adding Whit to Amen gives us 2 more swings as stars. With our core we've added some crazy athleticism, versatility, and defensive potential. This was awesome night!
The free fall started a bit of a vicious circle and then it worked out how the teams in front of us didn’t want a project aka the youngest player in the draft who was in free fall based on injury and work ethic potential issues. He might not work out but you have to take the swing on his talent and youth.
Man Rockets keep sticking it to thr Brooklyn Nets. Traded Harden who didnt want to play for them and noe Stuck it to them drafting Cam 1 pick before. I apologize on behalf of the Rockets.
Does anyone know anything about this alleged new injury concern? I haven't been paying super close attention to the internet since we made the pick. Might have missed it.
Nope. It's just vague suggestions by some reporters and apparently Whitmore himself doesn't know. Cause if he knows he's injured he'd either just tell Iko to avoid that question, or give some vague answer. Rather than flat out denying it.
Wow! I'm very happy & surprised we got an Amen & Cam this draft cuz I was depressed when we got screwed in the lotto...again! I also like the head coach Udo. Now we need some good vets! Stone make it so...
