Zion is a winning player though… Green has a long way to go before he is one.

Zion has his red flags but he is a better player than Green by a significant margin.

His maturity level is just dreadful, but dear lord that guy is an amazing basketball player when he is right. Probably top 5-10 in the league.

John Lucas have any magic left?

The issue with Zion is that he's poised to eat his way out of the league, while he's infinitely more talented than Jalen Green, it doesn't really matter if you can't stay healthy enough to get on the court.

Zion is obviously a higher ceiling player and provided a lot more with the time he has been on the cirtbut the roster he got to was much better than the roster the Green joined.

DD, in 4 seasons Zion has averaged a bit over 28 games a year. Yes, he missed a season with a foot injury, but the best he’s managed is 61 games his second year. He gave the Pels 24 and 29 games the other seasons. That’s horrific. Heck, I’d feel sorry for the guy if he hadn’t embarrassed NOLA with his absurd personal life.

This is the “all time great talent” you want us to unload a pile to get? Sure, the Pels should literally give the guy away at this point, but they won’t. I think you’ve been spending too much time outdoors. It’s hellish out there in our neighborhood.

I get it, it’s a huge risk and something I would typically be against. If there were any doubts about the player he was on the court I would be out but the level he has played at in the short time he has actually been able to play has been elite. He could be in the conversation for the best player in the NBA as soon as next year if he actually played a full season so that’s why I think if the price is right it’s a move you should think long and hard about making.

He wont ever play a full year. If he had the desire to do so, he would’ve fixed his bio mechanics by now.. instead, he has battled weight issues.

My big thing is he seems dumb. All that money and fame snd your banging this pornstar who is bottom barrel in regards to hot p*rn stars. Just not smart.

This is a stupid and why are you guys entertaining it, Nobody would give up the 4th pick in a draft and Jalen Green….are you serious. If Zion wanted to come here I would give them the 4th pick if Amen is not there, Jabari and Brooklyn picks but not Jalen.

Jalen, Zion, Sengun would be our top 3……ok

Now that i'm imagining Zion in a Rockets uniform(only for the #4 and filler), i realize why would NO ever do it when Portland will just trade the #3 if they know Zion was available. You really think Portland says no or picks the #4 over both Zion AND Dame because that's essentially what they'd be doing and Dame demands a trade for a low value return. They'd do it without hesitation and hope the high reward is Dame and Zion making a deep playoff run.

Zion Williamson has Never Played in the Playoffs. How about Staying Healthy and Being in Consistent Shape.

Yeah, it's funny to call a guy a top 50 all-time talent when you've never even seen him in playoff basketball. There are lots of guys who put up numbers in the regular season and people don't want to touch with a ten foot pole because they shrink in the postseason. Almost like Zion doesn't get that stink because he's not even good enough at staying healthy to get there in the first place.

Amazing to me that after suffering through the Yao/T-Mac era with the rest of us DD wants to go to back to injury-prone stars. But, based on the total collection of his opinions over the years, I'm pretty sure his greatest wish is for the Rockets to be a .500 team at the edge of the playoffs forever and ever.
