Learned early in my life that motorcycles are dangerous as inevitably people who you knew end up as fatalities. So sad. I liked his work, too. RIP

The last time I rode a motorcycle I spent two years on crutches. RIP Treat Williams

Well, on the flip side, nobody probably had as many road hours on one than Neil Peart of Rush who basically toured America several times over on one and never got seriously hurt. But, he has had some experiences that could have ended badly including hitting a deer in Texas (which his accompanying bodyguard had to put down via gun) and he got hit by a car from behind at high speed where he and his bike were pushed forward (I think he narrowly missed a big crash). But, you can be as safe as possible on one and, inevitably, someone in a car will end you...if you are unlucky.
