I believe it's more to Harden wanting a return back to Houston than that, but yes many of us here have known about his mom being sick for a while. The media was asked not to speak about it out of respect. I'll ask clutchfans the same, let's respect the Harden's family privacy in this matter. Anything basketball related can and should be discussed.
I said it earlier there is no chance on gods green/blue earth that any sane GM would/will offer harden 210 million dollars. None. They would be fired by the owner on the spot. Therefore at this point I think the best offer stone will put forward is something like 3 years 120 million with a partially guaranteed fourth.the partially guaranteed would be 20 million at max which allows flexibility for both parties to pursue other options if they deem fit
That’s seem fair, sign Harden for 3 years at 120 millions and sign Amen for our backup point guard and not Beverly
Like him or not people need to chill on his personal life and don’t need to expose family stuff unless Harden makes it public
Spoiler Not sure about the specific illness, but yes an illness was implied. The news seems to be more out in the open now. Was browsing reddit on the Philly not offering Harden max news... One guy (Hornets fan?) mentioned; so fans of other teams are catching wind also. Some of the Rockets insiders had the info, but kept it down low, out of respect for his family and privacy. Not sure what Harden wants to do. He could still stay in Philly. As far as bball talks, it's best we don't reference it specifically I guess... out of respect... until maybe Harden bring it up himself or the news is super public.
Yeah I just saw the dude from round table openly talking about it with that Jackson gatlin dude. Jackson seemed hesitant to talk about it but the other guy was not shy about talking about it
I seriously get worried about his health when I see him. Dude is right once a year and making a killing off that. I'm sure he can afford to sort this but when all the resources are there and you can't lose weight, it points to a spiritual or mental issue going on.
Not just your posts. Most people without the emotional attachment with Harden would see that signing him to a 4-year max deal was a terrible idea. After Harden fizzled out in the playoffs yet again, some of those people have backed off a bit and is now saying a 4-year max might be a bad idea but a 3-year semi-max is still the way to go.
Playoff P has to go on record with this because the setting was just too informal.....do it again, Pee......
Woah! I didn't know anything about this. This is terrible. I wish I could talk to him. I could probably help.
