    Big Notre Dame fan and he was the next great lineman for us. The line suffered in the past two years when he was out. Was a tad more injured than I’d like but when he was out there, he was a game changer.

    Interesting.
    I remember early on in the draft process he was rated highly.
    One of the major publications even said he was the BEST AVAILABLE interior OL for the zone blocking scheme.

    You can NEVER have too many quality linemen so it's all good!

    Apparently he can play center or guard. 0 sacks allowed last 3 seasons.

    Patterson played guard and center. One of those inside guys you can move around. Solid, solid guy. Gives us versatility across the line.

    Our interior line was so bad last year that I have no problem with taking another guy to play guard or center
