The Cavs need to further bolster their bench. Could be one year, could be two years away. Not really that far away. Or wait till Middleton, Jaylen B, Harden all join another Conference.
Evan Mobley was a Non Factor in the 4th Quarter. Zero Role Offensively. So many Dumb Rockets Fans, still want Mobley. I just don't see any 1st Option, Give it to Mobley in the 4th. I just don't see it in him. Even Defensively Randle Outmuscled him for a Offesive Rebound in the 4th. Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland will take the Shots in the 4th.
Mobley will never be that guy…he relies too much on others to score points Mobley’s career high is 38 points, and he had to make 19 shots with 15 of those makes assisted in order to do it…usually if a guy made 19 shots in a game, they’re finishing with at least 50 points…Mobley didn’t even get 40 guys like Mobley are nice to have, but in the playoffs, it’s young bucket getters like Donovan Mitchell, Devin Booker, De’Arron Fox, etc that are putting the team on their back Anthony Edwards averaged 25 ppg in his playoff debut easily outplaying Towns…Booker averaged 30 in his 1st ever playoff series at age 24 against the Lakers, and later averaged 28 a game in the finals guys like Mobley are often in the background scoring 10 points and playing good defense
Not everybody can shoot middys like that, thats why it got cut. Sure if the dude is a killer from mid then you let him shoot but those guys are a minority ask WB 3-19.
Yea I think You remove the Top 20 Mid Range Shooters and the percentages would drop offf cliff I didn't think he was (then again I never watched Utah like that) but I have seen alot of complaints about it Rocket River
He gets tunnel vision and takes too many tough shots. Also, his game does not stand up against elite defenders. Eric Gordon would put the clamps on him every time we played them in the playoffs.
Never been a fan of Mitchell - great player but more so along the lines of Lillard. I don't think you can win a championship with him as the alpha.
Did JB win any playoff games as an assistant coach? I haven't followed the NBA that closely but I assume this must be his first playoff win as head coach. Good for him, I thought he was in over his head as interim coach here, but I liked him.
