Sounds about right. This years 1st, 2024 1st and probably 3rd rounder this year or next.

Any chance a QB falls to 12?

    Brad Crawford of 247 Sports

Bryce Young played against college football's premiere pass rushers weekly the last two years at the college level. His size was never an issue within the nation's most competitive league.

What's weird is...there's no one in this draft that's worth trading up for. There's no clear cut #1 player/qb that's considered generational to trade from a top 5 pick to the #1 pick...and having give up 2 first plus 2nd/3rd rounders. There's no Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, or even a Lawrence. Insane.

Honestly that’s a good thing for the Texans. If they want qb, they should be able to just sit at 2.

With smart game planning you could run Richardson into a championship game. His career would be done after 5-7 years, but it could be done.

I have a feeling all this talk about what it'll take (multiple 1st rounders) to trade up to #1 pick from a top 5 pick, nothing but a bunch of bull. Bears fans just setting themselves up for disappointment...maybe if the Raiders, Falcons, Panthers trade up to #1, they'll give up 2 firsts.

Agree. Unless some team thinks one QB is worth that price, CHI may end up drafting one of the lineman. ARZ could have more leverage now. IND, SEA, DET, LAS, ATL and CAR could all take a QB. Obviously IND, LAS and CAR are the most desperate, but don't discount the other 3 taking a swing on a guy they can develop as their future QB.

If the above situation plays out, we could have our choice of QBs and then everyone else is vying for the other 3. That could make for a very exciting 1st round.

Weapons, is what you want and whoever they draft at QB needs. Washington would have been a great pick. Now I'm hoping for a long time fix at center and LaPorta/Kuntz/Achane/Mingo etc... Type weapons in 3rd and 4th rd range.

I would add Musgrave to the Top 4 TEs. Kincaid is my favorite, because I believe he's just such a dynamic weapon. Mayer and Washington provide more all-around capabilities with their blocking, and Washington has a chance to be special with his size and athletic ability. Musgrave has the potential to be the best of the bunch with his size and athletic ability. If Kincaid is there at #12, I'd have to pull the trigger. If not, I'd hope one of those four make it to our 2nd and then I'd take one there.

If neither of the above scenarios play out then look at what PT24 suggests and grab one later.

Yes of course he did. Anyone that actually watched him play could see this, which is why I was incredulous that you expressed doubt when I said he would test better than gabbert at everything.

AR tested better than he looks on field. He doesn’t look like one of the best athletes of all time. He’s still not a QB yet.
And that doesn’t take away that Gabbert was an elite athlete at QB, something you just keep doubling down on for some reason.

We already know he has a bad eye for judging athleticism on tape. I’m guessing he’s not athletic himself or didn’t play any sports. It’s obvious to everyone that Anthony Richardson is the most athletic person on the field 99% of the time and that was before the combine. I don’t take his evaluations of speed on tape serious at all because he’s just wildly wrong a majority of the time when it comes to that.
