Neither one of them were specific, and that sounded like poor coaching and lack of accountability.....that is not on the players that is on the coach.

Just report what is heard.....not asking too much, tbh.

I'm not with you on Stone yet. Look where we were 3 years ago and now. We had the oldest team with little draft capital and it wasn't good enough to win.

Rather than be mediocre indefinitely we have been taking our lumps to speed up the process.

I think our biggest mistake was not changing coaches when we shifted from trying to win with Harden to starting over.

I don't think it was fair for Silas or us and may be partly to blame for the slow development of some of the top picks.

Stone will be judged by who he hires for next coach, how he spends his cap space, and whether the prospects develop.

 

Yea, rebounds, defense, passing... none of that matters. You're right to ignore.

Green is shooting significantly lower across the board. He is younger so it buys him time but let's not pretend it's not a concern.

 

Their ts% is off by one.

Green has a significantly higher scoring efficiency on pnr possessions with Green having more possessions per game.

Green has a higher offensive rating than KPJ also this season.

 

Lots of BS has flown around the Rockets even before we sucked, even before Tilman. Feels overblown.

And of course we lack structure. We are playing teenagers and have a dookie dog head coach.

Folks need to relax. A strong pick and a strong coach this off-season and we are in business.

 

Tonight was another sh-t show. I do not see how a HS Coach would play Nix over JC, doesn't make any sense to me.

Bench Sengun when he was our leader in rebounds and assists, was weird. He was having a tough night, but needed to keep working at it, not rot on the bench.

This sucks!

One positive was starting TyTy at PG. About 10 games late, but finally!

Well, once the Knicks lose to a lower seed this playoff season they will have tired of Thibs... he does have that effect over the long run.
But 2-3 seasons of Thibs is the kind of 'eat your broccoli and like it' hire that this group of wayward children needs... THEN you can hire a Silas type.

 

No worries. All we need is a players only meeting chaired by Kevin Porter Jr., aka the Head Honcho.

 

I do not think we will get a new GM but a tough new head coach, will bench KPJ and Jabari and tighten up Jalen with discipline. We need Scoot and two shooters

 

Rockets are a good team, fantastic. They just need to work on communication, three point shooting, ball handling, free throw shooting, perimeter defense, passing, finishing at the rim, fundamentals, mid range shooting, defensive rotations, post defense, mental toughness, contesting shots, boxing out for rebounds, fast breaks, coaching, set plays, player development, hustle plays, bench rotations, closing out on shooters and staying healthy.

 

We have a superb catch and shoot potential 6th man of the year already on the roster.

Let KPJ be the best version of himself.

People can b**** all they want about how they think the players are acting, literally no one that hasn't been in the locker room has cited anything.

I have no clue what goes on in the locker room, and nobody else here does either. What I DO KNOW is that when I watch this team, they run no offense, and they run no defense. There is literally no tangible structure on the court to speak of. I'm not sold on KPJ, but I don't think anyone on this team can be fairly evaluated until the coaching staff is completely replaced. I think Stephen Silas is maybe the worst NBA coach I have ever seen. Certainly in this franchise, at least.

 

It doesn't hurt to say, I hard KPJ was late for practice today, or got in a shouting match with a coach.

No one is going to know who told who what? But if someone is saying he is being a distraction without any evidence of that distraction - it is simply hearsay - be specific.

What exactly is he doing - dude has been out like 20 games - and people are still pissing on him like he is a toilet.

Social media has made everyone try to get attention and then they tout other people who have opinions like theirs as the be all end all.

I mean, if KPJ is a distraction, just say what he is doing to distract.

I've always picked up a toxic vibe from KPJ ever since he's been promoted to starting PG. This is not surprising to me.

 

But what does DD think about all this?

 

Not surprising at all.

You can see the effect on that on the court every night. Zero accountability for some players, not all.

Have you heard that specific players get to go over Silas' head or is that everyone?

Have you heard anything specific about KPJ being a toxic influence in the locker room?

 

We need to hire an established coach again.
