Played his hardest in the playoffs. I could see he truly cared then. No issues with him gone either. The time was right, too bad he had to struggle with this group of 19-22 year olds that have so much to learn still. I'll watch him in the playoffs.

I really liked EG. He never had that air of entitlement that so many players have today. Class act professional. One of the best at using his strength and body. Great shooter. While injuries sapped some of his explosiveness, people forget how good EG used to be driving to the rim. Tough guy; played through a lot of adversity; especially early in his career. I would have liked to have moved him even before Harden left and we waited too long, but this is truly the end of that Rockets contending squad that we all loved. I will be rooting for EG; unfortunately not this year given the opportunity with that Clippers pick ;) Mostly I’m just glad DD didn’t jinx us again.

Eric Gordon will finish his career having played more minutes for the Rockets than Tracy McGrady, Ralph Sampson, Mario Elie, Robert Horry, and Clyde Drexler.

There are only 9 people in the history of the Rockets who played more than the 7 seasons that EJ put in during his tenure here. If not for Chris Paul's hamstring in 2018, his game 5 performance against the Warriors Dynasty in the WCF would be up there with all of the legends from the two title runs.

Best of luck to him next year. Not his fault he couldn't keep the kids in line.

Said it before but Eric was here for all the highs and lows, playoff battles and injuries. Had some great memes and was professional in his role and did his job, even mentoring young players during a rebuild.

Worked for the city for seven years as a Rocket, I hope fans show him respect whenever he's staying in Houston.

Tru professional. I will miss him but at this time he was taking up way too many mins that could b allocated to the the developing youngsters.

He was a good complimentary piece to Harden.

    Was a true professional

Ofter showed up more than Harden in the playoffs

Never seen such a embarrassment crying about fouls

I’ll always remember that in big games EG would take on all challengers, even when 13 was not showing up. Been fun watching you play on a nightly basis for so many years. Nothing but respect.

Man, I can't watch any highlights from that series. It still hurts too much knowing how close we were and how we should've won.

Nothing but the best for EG. Didn’tlike it when we signed him and Ryan Anderson with that 3 or die rockets.

Holy ****, i was proved wrong. Eventhough we were in the rebuilding years, he showed up. Glad I’ve seen him and Harden way back years ago when they visited in my home country.

Good luck and get that ring Eric! Sidenote though, we need a good pick for that swap :)
