Um, play on the field is the #1 factor...when apply properly. I.E...competition played against. Tebow was never a passing QB, scouts are not idiots. Timmy Chang was the offensive system and competition and was never drafted. Tim Rattay....was drafted in the 7th round, really? Tim Couch was a prototypical size QB that people fall in love with (6'4'' -220Lb). Sounds like another UK QB (6'3'' -232lb). Couch put up good number in college, but had a HIGH interception total...that should have been a red flag (74TD, 35 INTs). Couch led the Browns to the playoffs, but injuries derailed his career. He was alot like David Carr, and being on an expansion team got him beat up. No, u end up with bust when measurables are your #1 focus, instead of putting production and competition as your factors.
Only Timmy Chan(g) Im down with is the 6 piece wing dinner with rice and gravy and a cold grape soda to wash it down.
1 yr big money prove it deal it deal for Garoppolo draft Will Anderson draft BPA draft BPA and repeat Next Year grab best QB Weak QB class this year..
Really? And what don’t I know? I just went point by point on his post. You have nothing to back up your bs on CJ Stroud.. I have posted information on what u call his bad games, yet those games weren’t bad. You so full of **** that you are not even worth responding to anymore.
Jimmy G is not taking a 1 year deal. He will get more from other teams. Will Anderson at the top of the draft is Clowney and Mario Williams all over again. Not getting u deep in the playoffs. Take the QB.
Except they were bad, if Maye’s games were bad then so were Strouds. You just have too much bias in you to see it. Same as denying Levis good games against Georgia and LSU. You have eyes for specific players, no objectivity. And you have no idea what you’re talking about when it comes to pro sports scouts.
VY and none of the QBs in those drafts were taking you to the playoffs. You don’t draft a QB just to draft one. If Young is gone, you draft defense. Stroud is not the one
Bad how? He had 6 INTS and 41 TDs this season. LOL. The NW game (weather was factor) was the only game he had more INTs (1) than TDs. Those other games...other than Michigan (2 TDs, 2INTs and threw for 348 yards), he no INTs and mulitple TDs with No Ints. Decent yardage and completion%. And his team won. You dont have to throw for 300 yards and 3TDs+ for it to be a good game. A game where you throw for 243 yards 2TD/0 INTs.. a completion percentage in the 60s is a very good game. A game where you throw for 149 yards, 1 TD/0 INTs..59% completion percentage and your team wins is not a bad game. Not eye-popping, but it is a decent game. Not bad at all, especially with OSU run game.
Stroud is the 2nd best QB in this draft. Almost every "expert" agrees with that. Levis is a project and the only reason he is getting consideration is because of Josh Allen (people think he can be molded into Josh Allen). That thinking gets you Blake Borles, Jake Locker...etc.
No, Stroud is not consensus number 2. There are 3 top QBs with Richardson being close to them. Young is the consensus number 1 QB. There are multiple sites and scouts that prefer Levis. It just doesn’t fit your narrative
Keep the same rules for other QBs. Your bias is getting the better of you. If Maye had those games you would say he had bad games.
Young is not the one either. He is just the one being hyped by the media. None of these QBs are worth a top 4 pick imo.
Anthony Richardson with a good professional QB coach to help with his accuracy is the best QB in this draft.
No...I wouldn't. Maye had 3 AWFUL games in a row, and a decent game against Oregon in the bowl. Lost all 4. The Georgia Tech game was inexcusable.
https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2023/consensus-big-board-2023?pos=QB When you aggregate all big boards and mock drafts these are the current results. No need to cherry pick things when the data is out there. I personally think Young is one, but if we’re going to cite websites and expert opinions, this is the most unbiased way to do so. 1. CJ Stroud 4. Bryce Young 5. Will Levis 16. Anthony Richardson
