It seems to me that none of the other teams in the top 5 have a huge need at QB.

Chicago - will stick with Fields
    Seattle - Geno
Detroit - Goff is playing well
    Arizona - Murray

Possible to pick Carter/Anderson at #1 then trade up from Cleveland’s pick to #5 of Cal insists on picking a QB this year. Don’t know if Cleveland’s pick next year would be enough…

And I don't think THIS team would be the right fit for him. I'd prefer Bryce because he's a tad bit more polished.

Which is why a QB shouldn't be picked at 1-1.

I'm just not a fan of any QB in this draft.

In fact I like Duggan in the 3rd much more than I like any QB in the 1st.

Off topic a bit, but wondering where everyone’s at on last year’s choice of Stingley over Sauce Gardner. Stingley has certainly posted decent stats (0 TDS allowed), but I’ve heard it oft said this season that Houston’s pass defense stats are inflated since teams know they can exploit the Texans’ league worst run defense. Meanwhile, Sauce has formed half of a 1-2 shutdown corner duo for the Jets, and is looking strong to be defensive rookie of the year. And depending on what you think of last year’s pick, what does it say about your trust in the same front office making the correct QB selection this year

It helps to be drafted by a team with a defensive system that plays to your strengths…

I wanted Sauce. I stated that several times in whatever thread was made at the time. I like the Parcel’s height/weight/speed method. He looks like the next great corner. I also wanted us to get Tariq Woolen when he kept falling. Same time, I was happy we got Stingley. Still happy we got Stingley but Sauce will be the better player and ALL PRO soon. Not saying Stingley won’t be a good player but Sauce will be better.

I wanted Neal and then flipped to Sauce before the draft

Last season I wanted Stingley until I learned about the lisfranc injury. Then Stingley was off my board until the 2nd rd

I look forward to the meltdown that occurs in here when in the offseason the reports of "Levis shooting up the draft board" start happening. Then when Nick drafts him and he fails to beat out Davis Mills in training camp the amount of alcohol sales in the Houston area will increase 10%.

Yeah I’ve seen stories about you have to see Levis throw live in person and that the ball explodes off his hand and you can hear a whistle.

I still have Bryce QB1 tho

Watching the Jags-Jets. Jets are held back by QB play. Zach Wilson=Will Levis. Wilson benched.

NY Jets are the case study of why good defenses are irrelevant in the modern NFL.
