against the Spurs. Just horrible horrible basketball. The Spurs don’t have the same potentiel on their team and they still play so much better than us it’s embarrassing. Nothing new, sorry : WTF with this crappy rotation ?! KPJ has no clue how to set up an offense Nix shouldn’t see the floor ever again Smith needs to be more involved to get his rhythm Sengun gets no calls in his favor Poor shooting decisions by Green (which I blame on the offense plays) We definitely need a new coach AND THEN a new PG
Better basketball? All they did was give it to Keldon and got out of his way. He had 1 assist from what I saw, that was mostly against Jabari Smith. Keldon was just a little quicker and stronger. This is why I said give me a Cam Whitmore type next season. Whitmore would have gone toe-to-toe with him.
Huh? All of his points are extremely obvious every single game. Unless you're a moron, of course. We tend to collect those here at clutchfans since downvoting doesn't exist.
New Coach New Pg Tari starting at 3 backed-up KJM Back-up 4 These are the priorities, otherwise we will be talking about when OKC's Rox drafts will end and who will be the next guy? As simple as that.
I never said that.. but idk how you can be a real fan and not watch the games. If he would’ve only caught the 76ers game, he would’ve thought we were playoff bound lol
Downvoting breeds echochambers. I'll take the morons with terrible (and different) viewpoints over the alternative.
Minus the Sixers game, that one game capsulates pretty much of the last three seasons under this embarrassingly bad coach. Great analysis without having to go through the full 37-149 pain we’ve had to endure.
Lol at « real fan » Living outside of the US, it tends to be a little tricky getting the Rockets games on TV. An 8H time difference also doesn’t help. So let me get this strait : you’re a « real » because you live in Houston (I guess) and I don’t? Cute... Or stupid
no, we have an excellent PG already, his name is alperen sengun, HOF level PG fyi...unless youre one of the rigid traditional minded folks that think pg is your smallest guy or the one that fancy dribbles aimlessly....
I was not a fan of the Rockets drafting Kenyon (figured he would be just a dunker) but I feel he has worked to improve his 3-pt shot. I pushed for Kenyon starting over Tate in year 2. I don't dislike Tate....I recognize he is a hard worker. Don't care for players not improving their 3-pt shot ( ex: Sengun). But I've heard all season how Tate was working on his 3-pt shot. And not just a 3 from above the break, he was practicing from the corners. Kenyon was the one who asked to be traded.....heard nothing of him practicing his 3 during the summer. But it's easy to see Kenyon was working on his 3 during the summer. That changes the dynamics of the equation. I still want Kenyon starting; but I like Tate on the second unit. I hate Tate playing center and was an undersized PF; but I like him at SF. In the Futures Game Tate was a hero. I'm not giving up on him...especially if he starts hitting 3's. I prefer 6'7" to 6'9" starting SF's. I believe many teams are going "dual combo guards" but also 3 guard lineups. I proposed drafting Ivey and moving KPj to SF or the 3-spot because I feel KPj is part Combo guard slash SF at about 6'6"...... Mikal Bridges is 6'6" and often plays at SF Will Barton is 6'5" and often is used at SF Harden (6'4")....EG (6'3")....Ben McLemore (6'3") were often listed at SF in our micro-ball rotation. I hated that. But I could go: Scooter Henderson (6'3") / Jalen (6'6") / KPj (6'6").....with 2 defensive bigs. KPj does better imo guarding Harden or SF types than the Trae Young types... Jabari as help defender
