This is just a very weak roster they have put around Luka, I am surprised they have not tried to retool, they seem content with just being stuck in mediocrity. Harden was a very special player in that he was able to play heavy minutes for a solid decade with high usage, I am not sure if Luka is built the same way and can last 7-8+ years like this with no help.

 

I can't wait until we trade Gordon so that everyone finally gets to play the minutes they deserve

 

They are going to waste Luka like they did with Dirk

 

ESPN has 'Curry's 11th 50 point game isn't enough for the Warriors' on the front page.

Instead it should say:
'Rockets win 3rd game of the season with 47 blocks!'
or
'Christen Woods nets 26 points off the bench as old team rolls him'
or
'Silas better off without loser Woods'

So just because of that 3, you gonna let him play 30 minutes per game? Let make him an all star then.

 

Euro ball emphasizes team play while American ball emphasizes star play. Pros and cons to both really.

Like while I'm sure Sengun and Garuba would love nothing but to consistently put up big numbers both are probably super content to just be out on the court and try to contribute to wins.

Meanwhile, you know both Green and KPJ and yeah Jabari too are all probably envisioning themselves as future stars of the NBA.

 

Garuba iq is incredibly high.

The way he guards defensively is a work of art, but on offense he positions himself very well and he almost always makes the right pass/read and he does it at lightning speed.

 

Garuba being able to defend someone driving to the bucket without fouling is so great to see.

 

Agreed and these are actually things I pointed out during last year's SL. When Garuba defends, he doesn't just strive to stay in front of his man. Instead, he's constantly and aggressively attacking the offensive player and forcing them to react instead of the other way around. When he's on offense, he did a great job of making sure he was in the right place to complete a pass relay. Both him and Sengun just have really high BBIQ.

Euroball has its merits and is suitable for lineups without a clear superstar and heliocentric system but enough skillful players.
