If we can’t find a suitor for him by the trade deadline, can we just thank him for his service and buy him out? He deserves to be on a contender and we deserve to not have to play him.

Or give him the John Wall treatment. I’d rather John Wall than Mr. No Fun.

Should have traded him last year clearly. Poor guy is miserable out there.

Yup I'm not sure why we're doing this to him.
The guy isn't mentoring anyone, he's just struggeling. What a terrible way to end his stint with the Rockets

    He deserved better

It'd be a big mistake for a team like the Sixers or Bucks not to try and acquire a guy like EG at the deadline.

I have no problem having kept Eric Gordon. From what I’d seen, Gordon likes it here in Houston. Plus the Rocket like Gordon too. It would be neat to trade him for a bounty, but there isn’t that type of return from teams the Rockets would send him to pursue winning.

I honestly don’t have any reservations for not having traded him last season.

But at some point the Rocket will need to trade away some of their players, because it’s a team built of mostly young guys, with very limited touches. Essentially, you just can’t play them all, much less develop them all.

Gordon and veteran players will be a necessity at some point, and fans usually determine that a plethora of young gunslingers on the NBA court isn’t necessarily a recipe for long lasting success.

Exactly this. He serves no purpose at all right now, and keeping him around isn’t helping anyone. They need to do right by him and move on. Unhappy veterans don’t make for good role models.

Rumor has it, Suns are close to finalizing a three team trade of Crowder. Could the Rox and EG somehow be involved in this deal?

    Enquiring minds want to know.

Gordon to PHX, Crowder to an Eastern playoff team, and we get picks/young players/bad salary vets?

We get Grayson Allen. Huge upgrade over our current token white player.

Whichever team it is would be a contender so way late 1st I assume. Fine with me.

I’d cut Gordon outright before I’d package with with KJ.

I would be far more amenable to moving Tate than KJ.

LOL When it rains, it pours.... hopefully one of the Fertitta's is paying attention to what the head coach and GM are up to.

Does Greyson Allen have a negative locker room reputation? (assuming that’s what you’re referring to by saying when it rains, it pours)
