Am I the only one think Ryan Hollins is super annoying?

I never post but ........ I figured I'd chime in. I like Ryan. When he gets hyped up it sounds almost exactly like my buddy Ransom, which is funny. The only aspect that bothers me is seeing a shot of Ryan next to Craig and how he makes Craig look so short even though he is above avg height. lol

 

He got a little out of hand last night. Him saying Sengun had the best footwork in the league was a bit much lol. I'm not a big fan of commentators yelling a lot, for instance the Hornets commentators annoy me, Hollin was reminding me of them last night.

But I'll give him a break, it was the first time the Rockets were actually making shots all season so it's understandable why he got so excited lol.

 

Imagine being upset at a guy who actually roots for our team lol.

 

Stop hating dude. He is making it fun and lively since ackerman is so boring and lame

Came here to say this. MILES better than Clyde and Bull. I enjoy him. I think it was a good hire.

 

I would prefer a local guy rather than his LA this and LA that. He can't match wits with Ackerman and doesn't even know much about Houston.

 

Murph and Worrell were great together but if I'm using a time machine I'm bringing back Gene and Jim!

 

He takes a while to get used to, with his over the top enthusiasm for mundane plays, but overall he is very likeable.

Ryan's fake exuberance can get annoying, and I hate how he drops Craig's name into almost every sentence. Sometimes twice in the same sentence. It's just weird.

 

Ackerman voice is annoying, it is like closes his nose when he talks.

 

I wish Ryan Hollins be quiet during Jalen Green Dunk, say something after not when he is going up and reaching the rim.

 

I'm mixed on him. On the one hand I appreciate the enthusiasm and I think he's generally good at his role but he does go over the top at times with the fake enthusiasm and it gets on my nerves. I think he could dial it back a bit, but the way he is now is still better than the alternative.

 

Maybe just me, but his insistence on shoehorning the phrase “bbq chicken” into his commentary every opportunity he can gets old quick

 

I actually think he's great. Been a fan since last season. I even like the silly foibles he has like the overenthusiasm and mentioning 1. That he's played with every single player ever and 2. When somebody played for UCLA. Have you actually ever listened to some of the other announce teams? Literally zero personality. The Bucks announce team sounds like an infomercial for an accountancy firm or something. And he actually knows his ****, he gives real insight into the court action from a player perspective alongside everything else. He seems to know more how to fix the team than Silas does, that's for sure haha.

 

Who has better post footwork? Because he was talking specificaly on that

 

LMAO!

 

Hollins is terrible. I'd rather listen to Jackson Gatlin, and that's saying something.

 

Hollins' love to Rockets is similar to Jackson Gatlin's to Trey Murphy III.
