Yeah, considering the Yankees left batters in scoring position at the end of each inning, this could have been much worse. They just need to stop the bleeding, and the offense has to do something early to counter.
This is what people need to worry about. McCullers was due for a stinker at some point. The heart of our lineup however, has to show up.
The problem w our offense is that down 3-0 sounds insurmountable when Altuve, Álvarez, and Tucker a combined 3-34. For once can our best hitters actually step up in the playoffs? Why is that too much to ask?
Nevermind that the offense has scored 3+ runs in 4 of their 6 postseason games so far, including the last 2. But yes, insurmountable.
