Two of them seem to be much more decent human beings than the third one. The party of the third one is better for the economy and less overreaching when it comes to certain (Covid) restrictions. The third one also has a better foreign policy record when it comes to treating the UN for what it is (a joke) and when it comes to Israel. I hope Trump won't run. It would be bad for the country and the world. But in terms of the economy, freedom (from totalitarian Covid restrictions), upholding family rights and values and calling the woke crazies out, DeSantis seems just right. He would be a good president. I wish he and his party could have a different position on guns and abortion though.
How do? Clearly we have resources there gathering intelligence and are able to even carry out missions. That doesn’t sound like we’ve abandoned the country. I was very critical of the withdrawal. It was poorly thought out and Biden not only ignored the obvious signs of the collapse of the Afghan government but made dumb statements claiming it wouldn’t. That said I’m not so bound by ideology to make absolutist statements out of snark. The fact is we’re in Afghanistan at some very limited level otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to take out Al-Zwahiri in Kabul.

He has a legit question. Reports going way back to 2006 saying this guy was dead, more recently on 11/20/2020 saying he died of natural causes or asthma. The latest is that he got sliced up by a Ninja drone. Well, which one is it? Where is the body?

The US likely has not left-left Afghanistan. The US likely has a working relationship with the Taliban. The US likely worked with the Taliban to find Al Qaeda assets and coordinated the Al-Zwahiri kill.

Yes I think there is likely some amount of trith to this. There might also still be many people in Afghanistan who don’t like the Taliban and are willing to help the US. Im certain there’s still a lot of US agents and assets in Afghanistsn
