this era is littered with all these guys being friends. The grade school circuit is massive and all these guys run into each other at so many different events

I never understood how their families can afford to get them to all these events. Funny we don't talk about that part of youth sports.

a lot of it is done through sponsorships. well the better teams. And players are able to jump from team to team now and do it way more often than in the past. Then of course fundraising.

    Finally, a real PG.
Seems his eyes are always on the rim and not on his teammates. I hope he can pass more if he wants to fit on the Rockets.

looks like he's got better handles and will run the break better and drive in the half court better....remains to be seen if he can shoot like brooks. but whatever, he's a great compliment to green, that's what counts! even as a bench role....

nbadraft.net has an Andre Miller comp. Makes sense though Miller was a terrible 3 point shooter. Cassell makes sense as well.

Good value at 29, really like the Green, KPJ, Jaygup, TyTy, guard group. Washington is also great Porter insurance if he just mentally implodes this year and they don’t decide to extend him.

He needs some facial hair and change his name to Tyrone. Let's keep John Wall to mentor him

Yep. An overlooked reason for having extra guard prospects. Now with 2 young point guards in Nix and Ty that can plug in with the starters.

I appreciate that he’s a true pg and I like the pick but exactly how important is that when you have Green and Sengun in the starting lineup? KPJ with his head on straight is really perfect next to Green. He’s an excellent spot up shooter and can guard 2’s while Green uses his speed to stay with traditional 1’s. I don’t find him selfish at all, just inexperienced. I’m excited to see that backcourt relationship continue.

Not sure where I said they didn’t. I even said I liked the pick. I’m more referencing the replace KPJ crowd.
