and also , his body didn’t give out . We mismanaged him coming back from injury and caused permanent damage . I’m not too worried about injury with Chet . I just don’t think he’s fast enough . Sampson and a more recent comparison , Mobley ,are both faster in the open court . I think Chet could be very good and very skilled . But he’ll be In the same speed tier as Jokic and embiid and both those guys will dominate him with power . to me the right teams could easily take Paolo / Jabari / Ivey 1-2-3 . it’s unknown how his body will change and grow over the years . I don’t think Murray or anyone else would go before him at 4 , but that also wouldn’t be crazy to me
I hear you on the knees. Goes without saying, but if we draft Holmgren and he gets us within a game of the cup in his 3rd year, I can live with whatever happens after that.
Ah ok. Well better than lagged stream then. I had no idea they did this last year too but it doesn't matter if there's a lag because Woj and Sharms are 15 min ahead of the actual live draft anyway
Yeah the only way you can really enjoy the draft on TV these days is putting phone on mute and not interacting with anyone or anything online.
Agreed. I was only a kid when Ralph was around but I just don’t see much comparison between the two at all. Chet reminds me more of a Marcus Camby with better touch around the rim and 3pt range.
Yep. Because Ralph was taller, he looked like the same body type as Chet. But Ralph was much more muscular than Chet. (Of course, he's also older so Chet may be able to grow some more muscle mass.) And people thought he would be pushed around in the NBA.
The 3rd pick is exciting, sure. What I'm most curious about is what the Rockets do with the 17th and/or 26th pick. Who will be available at 17 if the Rockets stay put? Will the Rockets put together a package of players and/or picks to move up? Can't wait to see what happens.
