Thought the trailer looked 50/50 to me. The baddie looked cool. Thought the female thor, in helmet, will work. But out of helmet, I wasn't feeling it. The humor was mostly off, but there was one funny near the end. Generally speaking, it misses the mark. I'd be worried.
If you haven't seen Thor 3, I can understand the sentiment. But Thor 3 is considered by some the best MCU movie and in the top 5 of many others.
THIS. Doesn't matter how this trailer looked. Taika has been absolutely money in everything of his I've seen to date and I have the utmost faith he will continue, especially considering he's already demonstrated the ability to absolutely nail not only the Marvel universe and superhero movies, but Thor specifically. I think it is going to be amazing, and I'm very intrigued by the villain they have chosen. A guy that specifically has it out for "gods" instead of just wanting to kill all humanity or whatever should make for some interesting conflict.
That trailer was whatever to me. It looks almost like a parody of what Thor has become in the MCU. It doesn't interest me a ton, but I'll end up checking it out eventually. I'm just going into any MCU movie I decide to see now with zero expectations, keep my mind turned off, and hope for something decent.
