Okay there was a miscommunication, there I was talking about us the Rockets in that last post and you were talking about the Warriors. But yes, yes they were. Thats probably the greatest collection of talent in NBA history. A core of a 73 win team, added Kevin Durant, dont be crazy.

the unskilled bum has a ring and is now grinding out wins against a good Boston team without Middleton

James gets 0 points in the second half of an eliminatiom game and continues to not attempt to play defense

Crazy how Harden got washed even earlier than Cp3. Too much partying, not enough work done in his body.

And lets face it Harden also has a diva mentality, only engaged when he has the ball and not moving his feet or doing anything on defense. Wonder what his next contract will be like lol.

If Harden would have taken that max extension we would be stuck on a mediocrity treadmill given his decline.

Yeah it's way too premature to say Harden is washed or on the decline. He's had injuries that past few seasons and hamstrings really affect all aspects of your game.

He needs to play less minutes per game next season

Yeah it esp affects you if you spend more time partying with Da Baby than working on your rehab.

Maybe he'll take his rehab seriously this time with money on the line.

Yessir. Folks were whining when he asked out but the party was over. The Rockets got there mileage out of him and as you said, sold high. Although I don’t think it was all their own doing but whatevs.

We need to build a championship roster now. Something the organization hasn’t done in 27 years.

They definitely had a champion roster with harden + cp3 + good role players.

You pretty much gave the textbook definition of a player on the decline. Plus he’ll be 33 this summer.

That said he could certainly make lifestyle changes that could slow or even temporarily reverse his decline.

Giannis will go down in history as the greater player of this era. Harden may be more “skilled” — but who cares. One guy will have earned rings and the respect of his peers, and the other will have not.

If Harden was 6'10/6'11 he'd be another Kevin Durant, if not better.

If Giannis was 6'5 he'd be in Greece.

Kinda crazy to see Harden fall off this much since leaving Houston though, can't lie.

James is about to be 33. Giannis is in his prime. Giannis also developed his game. We argued that James was better than Giannis, and at the time he was.

Harden is the second best Rocket ever and the dude was an absolute offensive monster. One of the greatest offensive players ever. But he isn't the same guy anymore. I remember talking on this very forum about how he played like Dwayne Wade. Reckless and physical. Eventually it would hit him like it did Wade. And it seems like it now has.
