Jalen Green’s last 50 games. 31.9 minutes per. 18.3 PPG 3.4 REB 2.7 AST 44.2 FG% 36.5 3FG% on 6.9 attempts 56.5 TS% You want to trade that? That’s wild.
What makes you think any of these guys are better than Jalen? If it was someone crazily rated like Wembanya maybe you can consider it but Jalen is a proven commodity why would you trade him for someone who might be as good as him? Plus it ain even the first pick 4rth pick? Who that? Jaden Ivey? LMAO
If you are swinging for the fences, trade our top pick and Wood for Zion and bet on having the most athletic forward and the most athletic guard at the same time! I wouldn’t do it, but there isn’t a higher ceiling of any two players in this years draft than what Green and Zion could potentially have.
He played 67 games, why just last 50. The full season isn't too far off 17.3 PPG 3.4 REB 2.6 AST 42.6 FG%. - league average this year is 46.1% 34.4 3FG%. - league average is 35.4% this year, not too far off. 54.7 TS% - league average is 56.6% not too off, especially for a rookie. --- It's always good to present the numbers in full when possible. It's not at you specifically but I feel when we trim the interval even though full data is there, the picture starts to get skewed; a rosier/bleaker picture is painted. Doesn't mean we trade Green, but honest baseline.
Because he was a 19 year old rookie that looked super raw to start the season. The player he was at the beginning of the season was in no way indicative of the player we saw from February to April. I personally thought 50 games was a large and fair sample size because if I really wanted to show some eye popping stats, his last 30 games, last 20 games, and of course his last 10 games sample sizes range from impressive to amazing. Just my opinion, but that’s why. Anthony Edwards this year, was more like his 2nd half rookie year version than he was his 1st half version that had some worried that he’d be a bust.
Lmao I thought this was going to be like….for Anthony Davis or kyrie Irving or some other established star. But you talking for a top four pick in this draft? Green went 2nd overall in a class that I believe had better top end star potential. He’d be my number one player in this draft and it wouldn’t even be close.
