see this is what im talking about, now if i were to call that twitter user out on his bullshit and post that jalen green is dead last among qualified players in 538 raptor.. his sucka ass would block me, because thats what sucka ass liberals do
FYI every sports media/entertainment is liberal by default. Trump in the White House isn’t going to change how these corporations operate or who they pander to. Trump supporters always fascinate me though, I wonder what life after Trump will be like for them? Guess we will know soon enough.
i don’t think duckett is liberal. I’ll bet he wouldn’t block you for disagreeing as long as you don’t harass him Either way politics has nothing to do with it lol.
conservatives HATE the nba, Lebron and adam woke silver slipper chased them all away during the bubble, with the kneeling im one of the few conservatives that watch the nba, and once harden is done im out as well
I think you’re drawing the wrong conclusion that people hate Harden because they are liberal. Harden is unpopular with NBA fans across the political spectrum, and (for a separate reason) liberals far outnumber conservatives as NBA fans. Nothing about Harden’s game makes it more appealing to someone who is conservative. I’d expect conservatives to like old-school, traditional basketball. Harden’s approach offends their sensibilities.
Came here for this, this is just wild. I get that you want to hold people accountable, but is he already over that honeymoon phase in Philly? Seems really quick to be calling out James like that. As a fan I would react that way since I am looking at it in aggregate with what happened in Houston and Brooklyn, but I would have thought as a coach trying to sign him to an extension he gets a fresh start in Philly. He has had some bad games after a great start, I am not sure what it is with the inconsistency and if it is injury related. He just does not look like the same player anymore. As someone on here mentioned the Harden contract will end up being one of the worst contracts in the NBA. It won't be John Wall / Westbrook bad, but it will be a tier above that. Part of me feels like if Houston ends up getting a top draft pick and is a 7th-8th seed team in a couple of years, Harden will be back here. Not sure how I feel about that if hes still on a max.
On second thought, I just looked at the actual box score of this game, Doc seems way out of line, the reporter seems right, Harden didnt have a great game, but got to the line 18/9/7 on just 15 shots with a couple of steals and a block - seems like he participated in an all around game, he was a -1 +/- which was second best on the team. While the bench on the other hand COMBINED to make 3 shots lol. When was the last time a bench combined to make 3 buckets? The reporter asked about the bench underperforming and Doc said it was not the bench, but Harden. The bench had 3 of the worst +/- players by far in a close game. Harden is not the player he needs to be, but to deflect the blame after the bench was brought up is crazy, and I can not imagine how it looks in Hardens mind, because even if it were his fault theres no way he handles that well.
Yall should look up @JayGoogle posts about Doc Rivers. I warned people about him. If he didn't have that Boston super team and the leadership of Garnett and all those vets on that team his legacy would be giving up 3-1 leads. When things go wrong, Doc is not the coach you want to have.
Only in the US are there two factions - Conservatives and Liberals. Everything else considered Socialism and Communism. You do know that the world is bigger than just the US..... there are a lot more factions than that........ I for one would have liberal stances and some conservatione ones, not going to throw everything away for a Harden type of player.
I kind of like it, I think harden at this point needs a coach to push his buttons a bit, if he is the franchise type guy I think he is he needs to be held responsible to take on that burden when others are not getting the job done. This is the coach Harden has wanted to play for, so if he can't handle a little hard coaching, I will have to change my opinion of him. Fair or not for him to cement the legacy I think he deserves he is going to have to tap in to unguardable Harden at times when this team needs him. With that said the more I look at this Philly roster I realize how flawed it is, they don't have much defensively so they are going to need to ultra efficient on offense and a lot of that has to be harden playing at a high level.
It may or may not work, any examples of 32 year old super stars changing their ways at this stage of their career? I recall a couple of ex players discussing Harden needing to learn to play off ball, but it being too late for him to change. He may need an off season and someone to really sit him down and tell him to rethink everything. He has the skill and work ethic to do it, I think he has been taking the wrong approach since joining teams where he no longer has to do it all. This 76ers team however does not look that great outside of Embiid. Maybe Morey can have that talk before he hands him another $200M. Even though Brooklyn lost last night to the Bucks, KD and Kyrie are extremely good when playing, I really think he screwed up by being impatient and not looking into ways to make it work.
He can't play off the ball with the Sixers, they have nobody to play pg. I don't even understand why anybody would debate him playing off the ball in this situation.
That makes sense, I think the discussion was right after he was traded to Philly. I am not sure what else he can do in Philly then. We will see come playoffs.
