    ^
(Undated-AP) -- Kansas City outfielder Carlos Beltran was told
by the Royals today that he is being traded to the Houston Astros.
That's what The Associated Press has learned.
Beltran, the biggest prize on the trade market, was informed of
the deal by Royals general manager Allard Baird. That's according
to a person close to Beltran who spoke on the condition of
    anonymity.
The deal is believed to be a three-way trade that also includes
the Oakland Athletics, possibly involving reliever Octavio Dotel.
The source says Baird did not give Beltran the details of others in
    the deal.
Oakland said it would have a conference call later today but did
    not announce the subject.

Now if we can just get the "other" trade done today we can all take a freaking break. I'm going freaking nuts after all of these damn trades.

Alan Ashby said that Buck might not be considered the Astros #1 prospect at catcher. Who else is there?

I'm reading conflicting reports...is it a one or two team deal? Is Oakland involved?

No Oakland. Dotel, John Buck, and cash going to KC.
