Fair, but Harden has never played with a big as good as Embiid. If Harden could turn Capela into an actual paint threat, imagine what Embiid can do.

Nets must be reasonably certain that Kyrie will be allowed to play in Brooklyn soon or Harden threatened to tank the rest of the season. I question the fit of Harden and Embid. I don't think Embid could play any better than he has been playing. Not sure how safe it would be for him to go up for multiple Harden lobs every game, for example. It doesn't seem natural to me.
As if Embiid is some worthless scrub that needs Harden’s help. His goal should be to pass the rock and let Joel carry his ass. It’s what he ultimately wanted. To be carried.
really don't understand this from harden's perspective. yes, KD is hurt and kyrie is crazy. but those 3 actually playing has been basically unstoppable in the very few games they actually played. and i really really don't understand it if seth curry is included. harden plus embiied plus a shooter like curry is scary. harden plus embiid plus 3 guys who range from bad to meh isn't scary. embiid does give you the chance to pair harden's offense with embiid's defense so i get that part. if ben simmons is ever going to figure it out, a lineup of kyrie, mills, curry, and durant is the best shooting you could ever hope for. again, KD is hurt and kyrie may never get vaccinated and you have to figure out who curry and mills guard, but damn that is perfect. and while you'd obviously rather have KD/harden than KD/kyrie, ben simmons back in form would finally balance out the nets like the 2nd 3-peat bulls or the warriors where you have the 2 scorers and one guys (rodman, draymond) who does everything well except score, as opposed to lebron's cavs or heat where everyone's main skill was scoring. of course, as i just said, harden/KD/kyrie was pretty unstoppable anyway. if i was the nets, i would have just stuck with it, told them to suck it up, and tried for a championship.
that's funny. There's literally a boatload of actions harden/embiid can run for not only themselves but creates for the rest of the team. There isn't one action or set these two aren't capable of running together. Embiid hasn't had anyone that has that versatile ability ever to be able to finish or create or even be a decoy in 1 player who can impact the game in all 3 areas
