This but also put yourself in Nick's shoes. He's probably thinking what happened to the Easterby I knew, the one that grabbed coffees and drove players from the airport. It's undermining Nick's football knowledge that I think we can all agree it's good. lol
I hope to God it's McCown. Can't wait to see the meltdowns everywhere. Been waiting for this. Honestly, if it's Flores, that's cool, too. Just not as fun.
I have a feeling McCown has no clue what he’s getting into and is going to end up quitting instead of getting fired. I thought the stadium was empty last year but man the Texans aren’t even going to be able to give those tickets away. I can’t wait for the Kirk Cameron halftime show.
It has to be Brian Flores. If they hire Josh McCown they will take a huge PR hit that might be impossible for them to recover from.
didn't Flores accuse the Texans of hiring Culley as a token black fall guy for an intentionally tanking team?
I would be stunned if it were Flores. His lawsuit puts him on the do-not-touch list for multiple reasons. For starters, it's just the wrong mindset that you'd want in a coach -- you want accountability, not victimhood. You also want a team player, not someone who slaps you with a lawsuit if he's unhappy. If you hire someone with that mindset and they suck... then getting rid of them is a pain in the neck... to the point that the Texans probably decide the easiest path is to never bring him in to start with.
The organization and its fans have been shat on by the media at every opportunity but now pr is important? Lol
It's definitely an okey dokey, as it seems McCown was most likely the choice 12 months ago. Texans are probably just doing the NFL a favor of playing along. That being said, it muddles the case a little bit, I would think. Unless they actual hire Flores.
Why are people all of a sudden acting outraged that it’s not gonna be Gannon? I liked him as a candidate, but nobody else seemed to.
