Why ask why, it was what Silas promised.

The dude loves Houston, loves playing with Sengun and wants to be great.

Why so much hate, especially after his late game heroics that sealed the win?

He is flawed yes but like KPJ, this kid is HUNGRY.

Well I believe his antics are for raising his trade value. If he is traded then mission accomplished.

He can go back to being more team oriented.
But I hear you.....Wood wants Max money and so
    does Oladilo.

So that's the thing, Rockets know the team that gets Wood could probably trade him for two first round picks. This is probably why Houston wants two first round picks. I'd take one first and Duncan Robinson. Make the deal Riley...do it, do it.

Then you saw just the tip of iceberg of Mobley last night, as awesome as we all thought he was he will be unleashed even more prior to playoffs.

I have watched one of his every HS and USC game that I could find online prior to the last draft, things he can do at 7 foot tall is insane.

This kid will be DPOY soon and may pick up a MVP as well, that is how special he is. There is no wait 5 years talk or expectation from him.

Duncan Robinson can play. As good as a mid first rounder (that has proven himself pro worthy)

Not all first round picks make it....meaning maybe we pick the next Fultz. Duncan Robinson is beyond that.

Last 14 games Robinson has started in 9 games.
Shooting 40.2% from 3 on 8 3-pt attempts per game.
Just what the Rockets need. High volume 3-pt shooter from the SF spot. One of the main reasons Miami has surged to the number 2 seed in the East.

Thats awesome bro! Sounds like you have a team to root for in the playoffs. Im genuinely happy that your favorite player is flourishing and wish you no ill will. I hope one day my guy can live up to his hype too and feel confident he will.

i know it sounds a little bit too mean...
but as a rockets fan i do hope the ESQUE larger than its essence, otherwise no matter what we gonna do (to our rebuild) we would lose 5 rings esp when cavs find their parker-esuqe and ginobili-esque:(

    LOL

I root for the Rockets but I'm not rooting blindly like some do.

I can say a player is special without adding caveats to make myself feel better.

Rockets fvcked up, it is what is.

But Green played his heart out and gave us hope last night and hopefully he has broken through that rookie wall to continue to play this way going forward.

Duncan Robinson has been in a shooting slump the last 3 games, shooting 15% from 3P at high volume.

And for a 3P specialist, he is shooting from distance worse than Wood for the season.

    Rather keep Wood.

Better about what though? Clarify. Do you want me to proclaim Mobley the best ever? Not sure why you continue to be intentionally combative you're just aligning yourself with the typical. I'll continue to enjoy the good moments with Jalen Green and be happy about that. Does that cause a problem for you?

So you shoot me the be well and I respond in kind and I'M THE ONE BEING COMBATIVE?

You can like any player you want.

And so can I without you attacking my fandom and adding caveats, excuses or strawman arguments left and right.

And no one said Mobley was best ever, that just you gaslighting yourself again.

I really have no cause to continue the dick measuring contest between players. I've alread effused his praise on all of my posts today. What else do you want? Im trying hard not to lump you in with the irate boomers and intentional trolls, but its getting harder. I've told you DIRECTLY on more than one post how much I appreciate your takes and this is the way it goes? LOL Not sure how to keep the discussion civil moving forward if every step of the way its just going to be an Evan Mobley circle jerk when the guy doesnt even play for this team. Keep being his #1 fan and posting all those cool markers and I'll keep reading them, but the circular discussion is tiresome and I wont partake any more. YOU WIN!! Does that do it for you? SMH.

Not sure why Greens fans cant even enjoy these little moments when they come so few and far between. His devout haters grumpy because some of us actually are OK with the player and dont need to pine for another guy every single day.

    "be better" LMAO.

We should have drafted Mobley, simple as that. People who can't recognize that are too invested in their point of view and are irrational about JG not being criticized.

Everyone here wants Rockets to succeed, including JG. But there is nothing wrong with admitting Mobley is the one that's looking more likely to be a generational talent.

Anyone ready to make this kind of proclamation doesn’t understand the NBA.

    Exactly.

But what worries me the most is not being able to admit the mistake.

If FO believes, like some of posters on CF, that Green was right pick then there is no accountability or a self correction.

And same Rockets FO are very likely to draft another top 5 player, are they going to get it wrong again?
