Grienke doesn't seem to be long relief either based on last night, only one or two innings I guess they thought they could get away with it in a 5 game series, but I think you want Odorizzi on a LCS roster if they get there. In a seven game series I guess you also have the option of throwing your starters for an inning or two on their bullpen days. The rainout helps here because the Astros can now use Urquidy as a long reliever instead of a starter.
That and also the white sox are irrelevant, this gets this series a little more interesting and gets their name out there. They have nothing to lose, down 2-1, they know odds are against them.
Don't complain when someone like you brought it up. I just responded with a widely held opinion and was attacked personally for it. There is no need for your anger or hate. It's only perpetuating the issue you are complaining about. I was content to let it lie and be the end of it until i saw your comment.
My plan... Game 4 LMJ Urquidy Graveman Pressly Game 5 if necessary: Framber (2 times through order) Greinke (1 time through order) Javier (1 time through order) So figure hard lefty breaking stuff for 4 to 5 innings... then softy right breaking stuff for 2 innings.... then hard right velocity for 2 innings... Should keep them off balance...
Ideally if this goes 5, you face Red Sox at home game 1 where Garcia is better... I think having alcs framber 1, Garcia 2, and LMJ on road in Boston is better so that shows the value of winning game 4...
just want to show respect both for the underlying contempt for that dood but also the elvis costello material. they just released this year's model in spanish and it rules.
You first, i had moved on... i would suggest directing at the person who started it and not who responded... Also, personal attacks are not a wise tactic unless you're dealing with children...
Elvis is Elvis and Costello is always half of Abbot and Costello. Who is this pretender Elvis Costello?
Any chance they move Garcia to the pen for the LCS (if they advance) and use Grienke as an opener instead? Looks like Grienke isn't the long relief kind and Garcia's effectiveness in the 2nd half has been down.
What was wrong with Grienke? He gave up 2 weak infield hits. I thought he looked ok and I was surprised he wasn't brought back for at least another inning.
