I wonder why there wasn't any interviews with Rick Carlisle? Would have been curious to hear his side of the story.
The Pistons were a Robert Horry shot away from going up 3-2. The Spurs ended up winning in 7 in a game that was tied going into the 4th quarter. I'm pretty sure the Pistons could have won that series. They are ridiculous for declaring they would have won the title, but it definitely cost them a pretty decent shot..
Watched it last night and didn't really change my view/memories of it. Piston fan was a douche and same with the fan they interviewed. Was surprised that Artest admitted he was a coward for leaving the Pacers and made me look at him differently. Also Stephen Jackson is a real one and I'd want that dude in my circle of friends lol.
Good watch. Definitely worth an hour of time to see. O'Neal definitely seems to have suffered the most but all 3 Pacer players still affected all these years later. Crazy moment in time.
Agree. Timing isn't great. I mean it happened so long ago. Still, they could've made it more interesting. They could've talked about how Pacers completely unraveled from contender to mediocre status. They could've talked about legal proceedings against those idiots. It was too factual and not enough perspective
It was actually an entire Robert Horry fourth quarter. It was pretty insane and completely out of nowhere. One of the most clutch playoff performances of all time in a career filled with clutch playoff moments.
How would Stern have handled Morey's HK tweet? Would he have sided with the Chinese to protect NBA's image/business?
LOL @ craving Stern, guy was probably the most corrupt person in the history of the league.Definitely an a-hole, you can just tell by his face.
Finally watched the whole thing and it's actually pretty good -- there were quite a few details I'd forgotten about or hadn't heard.
