If he's still on the team he should get the same treatment afforded to every other player. If you want him off the team then fine, the Rockets need to get on it. However, it is not hubris on House's part to want to keep his current number, that is the standard. I also think that if it were Matthew Hurt that wanted the #4 instead of Jalen Green no one would give a crap. Green is good, give him what he wants is basically what this boils down to.
