I very weird moment. With the way Lil Wayne was stumping for Trump, and CP3's politics. Something happened to CP3...
If I were an OKC fan this would devastate me. This man turned to prayer and gospel when he was traded there lol.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...-the-worst-contract-hed-ever-seen-per-report/ Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta thought Chris Paul had the 'worst contract' he'd ever seen, per report Fertitta was reportedly a driving force in the Rockets trading Paul last summer Per MacMahon, the trade that sent Chris Paul to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Russell Westbrook was orchestrated by Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta and James Harden. While that was widely assumed, and everyone knew of the dysfunctional relationship between Harden and Paul, MacMahon gave some additional insight into the motivation that's pretty notable. Apparently, Fertitta believed Paul had the "worst contract" he'd ever seen. Rocket River
Did he mean worst or first? He would've been a relatively new owner. Maybe it was the first contract he ever looked at.
From luxury saving st For a cheap business owner, any contract that is not veteran minimum is a bad contract, especially those big fat contracts that make it go over the cap.
P Bev is such a douche player tbh. Cousins as well. I don’t feel sorry for anyone on the clippers, not Leonard, not P George. No one. f both LA teams!
It's easy to put all the blame on Harden or tillman (f him) but cp3 did this to himself. He came into camp 2019 out of shape. Harden had to carry him all season long, playing like a god every night for us to win enough games to be top 4. By the time its playoffs, we know the story from there. We couldn't depend on him. His value was at an all time low. Consensus around the league was cp3 had a bad contract. Rockets were trying to salary dump cp3 and no teams were taking it. We had to add 1st rounder and swap 1st for russ! That should tell you the state of cp3 at the time. Harden isn't even the only teammate that didn't like cp3. Pretty much every where he went he bumped heads with fellow teammates. Thats why Cousins said "nobody wants to f with your weak ass". You know maybe if cp3 wasn't such a jerk off to Harden, and if he came in camp motivated and in shape that year, things would be different.
its cringe worthy, but it fits well with the wwe like atmosphere of the NBA. No other owner in pro sports would act like that
Let's get real. Many thought CP3 was too old and injury-prone for a fat contract. Now that he has performed great and lead his team to the finals everyone has jumped on the CP3 bandwagon. It is simply unpredictable how a player will perform past their prime. In hindsight, everything seems validated. All being said, CP3 plays tough and competes with any team good or bad. He deserves this win!
