Watching this game on ESPN Classic. at 12:30 PM. Amazing game and though I love the current team, there is no way they could beat the '96 team. Clyde is lighting up the Sonics. Kenny was one hell of a player. I forgot how good he was. Also, it is nice not hearing a hip-hop soundtrack everytime the Rox are on offense. But the bad is I am seeing this terrible Blue crap we had in our 3-point area and the return of the clown suits we had as uniforms.
I think the NBA has something to do with coloring the 3-point area. I remember Charlotte had the same thing and some other courts did too. I want to say Miami had their 3-point area all black.
Besides getting laughed at by every national sports show on cable in 1996 (for the court and units). The NBA received complaints about the Rockets floor because the players blended into the background. The following year it was changed to red. But, of course, the unis remained the same until this year... Oh the shame!
