I just saw a moron use the term 'Kung Flu' here lately. That is one of the racist terms that spill hate and are causing the violent attack on Asians.

Happened a year ago. But you can see the attack is not new. It was just not as widely reported before.

I would hope so and maybe I am naive but I also would hope other people would stop someone harassing someone for being Asian. Where I live there are a fair number of Asians (Chicago) and so far I haven’t witnessed any violence or threats of violence.

No one should feel fear to go out in person because of their heritage or appearance. It has to be doubly hard for Asian women.

Until recently my wife would tell me of men harassing here when I wasn’t around because she is Middle Eastern when we had conflicts in the Middle East. I had a boss (at the time) ask me how it was to **** a Muslim and ask if she allowed pork in the house.... she isn’t even Muslim.

I find what is happening with the treatment of Asian Americans to be very shameful. My relatives in Hong Kong even ask about it and my sister in law had to assure them she is safe.

True these attacks shouldn't happen but this is a reality that many Asians are facing. The fear I've been hearing from other Asians is greater than in decades. If we can't count on these type of attacks to stop can at least hope that most people won't stand by when they see someone Asian, especially women and the elderly harrassed.

I think it is San Francisco as it mentioned Tenderloin. There is a district with that name in SF.

This isn’t going to stop. USA is the largest melting pot of races.

    You can talk about it
    You can teach about it

For example white supremacy has been around hundreds of years and it’s still hear, stronger than ever.

USA is just going to divide even further, Asians live with Asians, whites live with whites, Mexicans lives with Mexicans, blacks lives with blacks. It’s been happening already and it will continue to escalate.

Also In 5 months, this topic will drop when the next hot issue arrives. 85% of the public already forgot about BLM movement, we stopped taking down statues, etc.

This is our country, accept it for what it is because we can’t make real changes with leader who have their own agenda. When people like Mitch can hold his power for years or Cruz going on vacation to escape Texas during the power outage....

This isn’t the 1776, where people can have a revolution with muskets.

    Yes it is San Francisco
It’s the worse hit area for the violence

the tenderloin is known for drug use and homeless people.
    @B-Bob

San Francisco doesn’t prosecute petty crime . Meaning $1000 of theft.

that means if you got $500 and I rob you, nothing happens to me

I don't agree with SF not prosecuting petty crime but many places don't. Most PD's don't have the resources and manpower to go after petty crime.
