The Harden doesn't have any help crowd is looking bad

DIPO sucks I agree. But is DIPO and 4 first rounders better than Simmons? We won't know for years.

 

Simmons + 3 FRP > Dipo + 4 FRP

 

Like I said before you don't know what protections the Sixers offered. Those coulda been some bad picks. With the Nets we could always get lucky since they are not protected. 3 years from now who's gonna be in Brooklyn still?

Also us getting Dipo makes us soo bad we can tank. Puts us in position to not have to give OKC our picks. That would mean we get DIPO and 7 first rounders. Plus hopefully we can trade DIPO for another first. So is 8 first rounders better than Simmons!

More than Dipo guaranteed. Dipo may not get us another FRP.

 

I think the deal was Bagley Hield and FRP for Simmons.

 

I would have flipped both Bagley AND Hield too.

 

Simmons or no Simmons.? It dosent erase the fact that the Rockets only got 4 late first rounders and a Dipo who can’t shoot or stay healthy for a top two three offensive genus, top 5 overall and the greatest duel threat offensive guard of the modern era

 

We got way more we pawn pieces of for 50 cents on the dollar to save Tillman money. Allen and Prince have to be worth more than a late 2022 FRP. It's a joke.

 

Yep , LeVert is 26, Allen is 22 and prince is 25. Same age bracket as C Wood . Stone better hope he can turn those picks into something worthwhile or this will be a epic fail

 

Especially if those picks are 20-22 year olds who need multiple seasons to figure out NBA.

When you posted this it looked better because the Rockets were hot. Now its looks horrible because Harden didn't have the help he needed to win a championship. Even with all the injuries if Haden would of stayed he would of had a phenomenal year; could of even avg 40. But playoffs... he wouldn't of had the talent to compete deep in the playoffs. So then what's the point. The organization failed to build a championship contender this year. Harden is still in his prime. He should want to compete for a championship this year where an organization didn't fail to build one.

 

Man, this thread is a JOURNEY through the ups and downs of the Rockets fanbase. If you have the time, go back to page one from February 2 -- we're in that win streak, and almost everyone is (paraphrasing here) -- "F Harden -- this team had the talent to win a championship this year," "no way the Nets will win anything," "Wall and Boogie have something to prove to the League and it shows," and basically, "good riddance to Harden's bad attitude and lack of professionalism." Anything super negative on Harden was racking up tons of likes.

Now, skip forward to like page 17 or 18, and this same thread has turned into some kind of Harden-stan account -- posting all kinds of Harden stats with the Nets, criticizing national media that's perceived to be slandering (or at one time slandered) him, arguing Harden should be in the MVP discussion, etc. Pretty wild turnaround, but also totally understandable...it hurt like hell for Harden to leave the way he did, but most of us can't help but continue to admire his game.

For those of you wanting Clutchfans to stop posting about Harden, you'll have to wait awhile longer I'm afraid. Harden WAS the Rockets for the past 8 years and as much as many of us may like Silas or Wood or Wall, it'll take more than two months for us to have anything close to that same kind of connection with any of them.

Likewise, it will take longer than two months to purge Harden (Eternal Sunshine-style) from our basketball brains, even though we're proudly Rockets fans through and through...
