I want to know what you guys think of the Rockets maybe going after PJ Brown. Yes, I usually avoid trade threads, but well, I guess this one isn't too outrageous (WILKS FOR TJ FORD! TRADE ACCEPTED! ;))

Anyway, if you guys think he's a good fit at the 4, who do you think we'd have to give up in order to get him?

My (somewhat reluctant on my part) trade would consist of

    Cato
    Mobley

    For

    David Wesley
    PJ Brown

    Please don't hurt me......I'm a bleeder.

The problem with PJ Brown is that he makes alot of money and he will be 35 in October.

Hornets ahev an All Star C, so they wouldn't need Cato.

I wouldn't make that trade either, we could get more than those 2.

However, if they took MoT instead of Cato, I'd jump on it.

i thought brown is a FA this summer. he maybe 35 but he is averaging 8-8, or 9-9. he can also hit a 15ft jumper. he isnt the best PF we could get but he fits nicely.

Nope. He was a FA last summer and signed a 4 year $34M contract. He'll be a free agent again in '07.

Hornets will be in our division next year. Not a very likely trade partner.

not even then. a few seasons ago, PJ Brown was a tough post defender and could hit the mid range J. now he's is officially the guy that's over the hill and when you watch him play you feel bad because you remember how good he used to be. it used to be steve smith, but now it's brown.

Agree with your assesment of PJ Brown's skills.

    Still, I'd do it.

MoT is worth 4 or 5M, we're paying him double. I'd arther pay PJ Brown double his value.
